1.   Lower Your Energy Rates: BIOS Energy Systems now provides deregulated electricity, natural gas and telecom services.

BIOS Energy Systems operated in the following states, not all services are available in all states: Connecticut, Georgia, Indiana, Michigan, New York, New Jersey, Ohio and Texas

2.   Energy Audits: Audit your buildings energy performance, lets find out how your home or building rates.  The Home Energy Solutions program, a Connecticut State and federally funded program offering homeowners a comprehensive assessment for just $75 that could uncover thousands of dollars in energy cost savings. For the $75 fee, you receive a home energy audit worth at least $850.  Other States coming soon...

A team of certified energy efficiency experts -- from one of nine companies, that are certified by the state -- will conduct the audit, which can take from 2 1/2 to 4 1/2 hours. The experts will set up a "blower door" test to depressurize a home and help identify major air leaks, and then seal them. They also will look at the energy efficiency of all major appliances, using a power meter to determine how much electricity each appliance consumes; measure the flow rates from all faucets and shower heads; measure the airflow through ductwork and inspect insulation, and inspect the efficiency of all heating and cooling equipment. "The average home wastes 58 percent of its energy -- two-thirds of your heat goes out the door every year, said Schappert. "There are 130 million homes in the United States, and 75 percent could be made more energy efficient."   Any homeowner is eligible to participate.  Learn More About Energy Audits

3.   Improve your buildings performance: Full service home improvement contractor: Windows, siding, insulation, what ever it takes to get your home operating at peak performance.  Learn About Energy Efficient Home Improvements

4.  Add alternative energy and or co-generation systems: Once your home is operating at its peak it is time to introduce new energy systems such as Solar Panels, Wind and Hydro Turbines, Fuel Cells, Heating and Cooling Systems, Wood Pellets

5.  Consider benefits of back up power:  We can discuss with you the benefits of a generator vs. a battery back up or both.

Without following these steps in this order you may end up with an energy system that is not sized appropriately which could cost you  thousands!  BIOS Energy Systems looks at the complete picture and assists you every step of the way.
